Kateri Internship Program
This program helps the young women to enter into the working world, allowing them to increase their skills and gain connections with employers that can lead to long-term employment. The internship program includes workshops and training opportunities on topics such as interview skills, further aiding their professional development.

Meet the Interns

Rosa
Rosa studied social work and is completing her internship at an organizations that works with individuals with special needs. She assists with a variety of programs to empower the participants and their families.

Cristy
Cristy is completing her internship at a school, helping in the administration and wherever is needed.

Mishel
Mishel is completing her internship as a pre-school teacher, co-teaching with Martha, another Kateri intern. The two of them are learning techniques to manage a classroom and make learning fun, while providing a service to families in the community.

Martha
Martha is working along with Mishel as a pre-school teacher. She is learning skills to help her in her teaching career.

Laura
Laura is completing her internship at a health center, where she strives to meet the patients' needs with care and patience.

Edna
Edna is working at a financial cooperative, where she is learning the ins and outs of the various transactions done by the institution.

Evelyn
Evelyn is interning at a group focused on environmental restoration. Having studied accounting, she is able to assist with the group's financial transactions.

Juanita
Juanita is working at a nonprofit, where she helps with workshops and logistics for building community gardens.

Sara
Sara is interning at a nonprofit that works with the elderly. She completes various office tasks and also leads activities for the elders who come to the center.

Andrea
Andrea studied education and is completing her internship at a school, where she assists the head teacher.
